Opening in 1993, this jerky brand still offers the traditional old-fashioned thick slabs of original jerky for sale. Unlike other jerky brands out there, you can still pick up their lean top round in whole, meaning no chopping or processing to get it into strips. Another thing to keep in mind is there are no preservatives or MSG, which is ideal for the health-conscious jerky lover. And for those who love trying every flavor under the sun, the House of Jerky has plenty to choose from. A few notable mentions aside from their original and natural beef jerky include hot, sweet and spicy, teriyaki and black pepper.
Visited Chincoteague Island House of Jerky this summer and was very impressed with the selection! The taste of the many kinds we tried were amazing! There is no lack of flavor in anything this place has to offer! Even the other many things they have to offer besides jerky! The roasted pumpkin seeds are a huge hit in my family and the BBQ flavor they offer is the best I have had! I highly recommend anyone to stop and at least try a sample you won't leave without buying something!
